Charter Members have Beta 3
« on: March 15, 2008, 01:53:09 PM »
All,

Just a quick note to say that we've got Beta 3 out to our Charter Members. We'll be making the beta public in the near future once we've ironed out any reported bugs. Until then sit back and hold tight, as the public beta is not far off now ;)

what is new in this new build?

Mainly bug fixes, lots and lots of bug fixes :D

There's a couple of other bits like better anti-spam stuff (You can now setup question/answer challenges as well as CAPTCHA), but nothing particularly note worthy to be honest :)

SleePy, I have a feeling 2.0 Final will be released by then. Hopefully unless we run into some problems. Dang I hope that my Great-great-great-great.... grandchild isn't on the SMF Team working on 2.0 at that time but rather like SMF 133.7 :-X.

Will the public release be a beta, or is the first pulic release intended to be RC1?
