I will show you the problem. Here:

That is what I need to fix. What do I do?
Can somebody help me fix my problem?
None of my themes I d/led are showing the image where they should be.
Did I get the wrong d/l? Or wrong version of d/l?

check the images paths are correct and pointing to the right place.  If you right click on those images above it will tell you where they should be, check that you have actually uploaded them to where they should be

simply in the themes folder aka

Themes/xxx/english

where xxx is the themename and see if there is new.gif in that folder :)

if not you will need to add one

Well, I did a combonation of two things. I had to name the image topic_new.gif.
I then proceded to upload directly to the Images folder.
That did the trick. Thankyou so much.

I have another similar question:

Now how would I go about changing these Images? Is it about the same
kind of deal? Because I couldn't find them in any of the folders.
I may note that the roses turn red when there is "NEW" post. So I know I would have to change 2 images.

those are entitled on.gif on2.gif and off.gif and are in the images folder

also connected to them you have new_some.gif (small version of on.gif) and new_none.gif (small version of off.gif)

on.gif = new posts in parent board
on2.gif = new posts only in child board
off.gif = no new posts

Ok, I will look. Be back with results, as a follow up. Worked like a charm thanks! Now I am off to search for changing other things.
