Collapsed Categories by Default?

Is it possible to have a category be collapsed by default and only show as uncollapsed if the user makes it so?

I suspect a mod for this would just add a flag to tell the code to treat the collapsed categories table as the opposite of what's expected - but I wonder if there's an easier way?

I want to see one of my categories (not all) on SMF2 RC3 collapsed by default, because that is a category for old version.

But I did not find such an option in SMF2 admin area, though I am using the default theme of smf2.

Hope the SMF2 developers will add this option, I think a new option of "collapsed by default" on the "adding category" page is good.
