Site Competitions - Brainstorm Time!!

Hey Everyone,

I need some ideas, I have just organised for my first sponsored prizes on site so Im looking for a good competition.... (since its a bridal website ive gotten 5 copies of wedding planning software) 

So far Ive come up with:-

- MEMBER REFERRALS (not sure this will really work its been in place for a while and nothing yet)
- IMAGE COMPETITION
- BEST JOKE COMPETITION
- CAPTION COMPETITION
- MEMBER OF THE MONTH COMPETITION
- MEMBER POST COUNT COMPETITION
- ENTRY FOR EVERY POST CREATED (i like this one might get them posting more)
- BEST AVATAR COMPETITION

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, Ive hit a brick wall now... hard to think when im sooooo bored!! I would ideally love something that would get everyone involved and maybe something to make them think.... (i want them to work for it) lol

Member of the month takes time and effort to maintain I've found.

Might be better to make that specific contest more spontaneous and random... like: "member of the moment"

So you're not pressed to maintain from month to month.

This is particularly important if your forum isn't huge.

Because it can ostracize some members...and make others feel marginalized...

Just my two cents.
