SEO type link?

One of our affiliates said if we work with them exclusively then they will place a SEO type link on there site which will help with our Google reputation.

What is a SEO type link and how is it different then a regular URL link that would be posted on there site?

There is really no such thig as an SEO link. It will be the same as any other weblink although I guess they won't put a search engine nofollow link on it

Depending on how many other external links they have on their site I can't see it being that beneficial to your ranking

I think all this SEO is way overrated. You just need some backlinks en a lot of good content.
If you have good content the rest (google & more backlinks) will follow.
Do not focus on all that crap about SEO. You have to make a site for people, not for search engines.
