If this isn't the first time this bug has been reported, then you also have a bug in your search feature  :)   I searched for "iurl" and clicked to search subjects only, and not a single result showed "iurl" in the subject.

Hard to believe nobody found this yet though.

When using iurl instead of url, in the WYSIWYG editor it shows the bbcode rather than just displaying it as a link like url does.

Tres annoying.

Any idea where in the code I can make the editor recognize this tag so I can fix myself?  Thanks.

I believe this is intentional.

Karl, as iurl is not a hidden feature I don't see how it can make sense for this to be intentional as it ruins the whole WYSIWYG idea?

An intentional bug :)  That's new.

Possibly, the devs would have to confirm.

My belief was that some bbcodes you can't really change/manipulate in wysiwyg mode, like tables, code.
And you can't really change or see or understand the target parameter on links. That is why its not wysiwyg'd

But [url] tags work fine, so that doesn't make sense.

[iurl] is the same as [url] but the links don't open in a new page.

I think its a bug,
If not at least the developers can comment on why it is done this way.
