Add-ons
- Dragooon's slideshow add-on is also available, which as its name implies, adds a slideshow feature to your gallery. Click here [nofollow] for more details.
- Nao's new Foxy! add-on adds 70KB worth of features to your gallery: RSS feeds for new items and comments (in items, albums, albums & children or the entire gallery), embedding of remotely hosted pictures (ImageShack, Photobucket, Picasa, etc.) with local thumbnail & previews created where needed, a SMG button to your post editor (where you can upload and embed items with a single click), user playlists (with permissions), Flash+Javascript playlist for albums & user playlists, and linked topics (which can add notifications, among other things, to your albums). Converters
Three converters are available for making your evaluation of SMG easier. You can run SMG along with another gallery, they will not conflict with each other.
Requirements- A working Coppermine (bridged with SMF), SMF Gallery Lite or SMF Gallery Pro installation to convert from.
- A working fresh SMF Media Gallery installation (it should be fully functional) on the same forum. Will only work on SMF Media Gallery 1.5 and later versions.
How to convertDownload the desired file (mgconverter_*.php), and upload it to your forum's root where the SSI.php and index.php files are located.
Run it from your browser.
Follow the steps on screen, it should do the conversion by itself.
Note: this will wipe out preexisting SMF Media Gallery items, if there are any. However, your Coppermine or SMF Gallery will remain unaffected before and after the conversion.mgconverter_cpg.php -
