More Large Font Issues???
« on: February 13, 2005, 08:08:37 PM »
Hello again :-\

url: www.pepperdinepsychology.com [nofollow]
click on forums in the main menu on the left

Mambo 4.5.1
SMF 1.0rc1
Bridge 2.2

I have changed the index.template.php doctype to "html" from "xhtml" but the font size is still unusually large? The forum font is large, and if you watch the menu on the top of the screen, it increases in size as well.

Strangely, this forum (simple machines community forum I'm posting in) has a really strange font layout now too? Makes me think I messed up my IE...but I also checked my forum at pepperdinepsychology.com on another computer and it still had large font issues? Does anyone have any idea what's going on here, and how I can fix this?

Thanks for the help...best regards.

Hold the Ctrl key, and roll your mousewheel forward 2 clicks.  ;)

Thanks... 8)
All my applications were freaking out, I restarted and that's fine...but my forum is still increasing the size of my top menu when I click on it from the mambo main menu? Do you know if there is anything I can do about that problem?

It has to do with conflicting stylesheets:

Code: [Select]
<span class="small">
.small is defined in SMF's stylesheet, and it will override any reference in your Mambo stylesheet.

You can solve this in one of three ways:

1) rename the class of that div to something other than "small", and change the class name in your Mambo stylesheet as well.
2) Change the "small" class in SMF to match the class in Mambo.
3) Change the "small" class in Mambo to match the class in SMF.

Eh?  "small" isn't used in SMF, smalltext is...

That's odd then....

It should have no other reason for resizing.
