The team is already aware about this. I believe this will be fixed in RC1. Thanks

Do I have to install SMF again for RC1 or do will you be able to use the update installer for it once its released.

You will be able to update to SMF2.0 RC1, yes. If you mean upgrading via the package manager, no its not possible until after the final release.
