Should I upgrade to 1.1.9?

I have some DzinerStudio themes and all my mods.

Should I upgrade to 1.1.9?

Is it actually 2.0RC1?

Will I have to update all my themes?

Will I have to reinstall all my mods?

Should I manual upgrade or use the package manager?

Package manager is the way to do, and no, you won't have to do anything else. It is not 2.0.

Update immediately. Install via package manager.

If any of your themes have any theme files that are modified by this patch, you *will* have to upgrade those themes manually.

I have simple portal and smf arcade installed, when I try to update to 1.1.9 it fails the /index.php test. Should I still install the update or wait until the mods are updated?

install the update then manually make any necessary changes to index.php

Ok people, we are trying to put this diplomatically but if that is not getting through try this:

This is a major security upgrade. It has been introduced specifically to counter the recent wave of hacking. The dev team have been working their butts off on this and for very good reasons. If you do not upgrade you are dumb. It's that simple. Really.
