[Help needed] Color scheme

Hi, I work my own site, and I have no idea what is good color scheme for it. I build it in grey, but grey is allways grey... Not very impressive.

Site what I looking for is http://hob-art.dy.fi

Idea of site is to offer information for art, mythologies and offer users to show up them own art (pictures, poems or other texts), all for free. Only limit for membership is that you must undestand finnish. Now site is in english, 'couse I have easier made site in english than in finnish (wierd, 'couse finnish is my native language).

But if someone had any good tips for color scheme, please post for it to me And remember also put those #00ff00 colors too in post too

I would recommend a light blue, something around #9999FF

EIther use a #FFFFFF or #000000 background. #000000 text.

Experiment with it.
