All versions are running SMF 1.0.3
Account: test/test

Mambohacks version running Mambo-SMF Integration v1.2.0-beta3 v1.3 beta 1

Very easy straight forward installation seems to be working without any errors

Problem(s) I encounter during setup/installation:

  • SMF database prefix needs to be 'smf_' (I had it 'sm103_' it kept giving incorrect prefix).
  • That's it.

Edited:

Upgraded to version 1.3 beta 1; smooth installation no major problem.

Orstio's version running MOS_SMF_BRIDGEv3.02stable v3.12

Installation/setup requires more steps as the other two.

Problem(s) I encounter during setup/installation:

  • In Mambo SMF-configuration 'Create path Automatically' does not detect the correct path (clicked on it without double checking thinking my SMF folder is been detected correctly, than clicked on "Click Here ONLY IF you have recently upgraded SMF, or added SMF mods." hence led to the following error had to start all over again.
QuoteParse error: parse error, unexpected '}', expecting T_VARIABLE or '$'  /var/www/html/mambo/components/com_smf/smf.php on line 200

  • That's it

Goosemoose

I didn't realize NUY was working on a version too. That guy comes up with everything!

Aravot

His version is not as robust at the other two there are some glitches/bugs that needs to be fixed.

I wish all three developers would join and work together into create one super Mambo+SMF bridge (keep fingers crossed)

All are test websites go ahead create user delete user test anything you want.

cowboy1015

aravot,

I'm sure other users can install it using prefixes other than "smf_".
There's probably something else going on on your server. The feed was also messed up there.

Cowboy1015,

As I said, problems that I encounter (didn't say it's a bug), it could be my server but someone else also reported the same at your website

trusk

edit: solved the problems with the ostios version (downloaded newest version from mamboforge.net [nofollow])
