I have a test site where I testing the MegaPolis theme, when I go to put the news fader up it works fine with internet explorer but does not work with Google Chrome, I have not tested with FireFox. Just wondered if anyone had any thoughts or ideas on this situation. Thanks.

Is this an issue with the default theme?

[n3rve],

This is an issue with the core theme as well.

In SMF 1.1.9, the news Fader works fine when viewing the page with Firefox, just as it always has.  However, when you view the page with Google Chrome, the fader doesn't work.  Only the first News Item stays displayed all the time.  Does anybody know whether this is a problem with SMF or a problem with the Chrome Browser?

See the problem here on my test site ...

View it first in Firefox to see what it's supposed to look like (there are 3 different News Items seup to display which fade in and out) and then try it in Chrome.  It doesn't fade in Chrome, stays on News Item #1 the whole time.

Thanks in advance,
ZarPrime

anyone found the solution to this?
because i installed totaly default smf forum and fader only works for firefox. in opera, google chrome, IE it only shows the first one news from the list.

Maxys, it's a known bug, not sure it's ever been fixed (or, to be honest, even likely to be fixed)

1.1 is not receiving anything other than security patches or really major bugfixes now, I'm not sure even if a fix were found it would be applied to the master code.
