Question about setting afetr convertion.

I'm about to convert my mybb forum to smf and I want to ask if the current setting of my mybb forum will be carried on to the smf setting? or just the data only?

what do you mean with "setting", permissions, profile options? You can try the converter without a risk, see Converting to SMF

TE, what I mean is all setting that I set on mybb admin cp, after I convert will it go back to default setting of the smf? or will it retain all the setting?

all the content (boards, topics, posts, post and board subscriptions, categories, members, membergroups, personal messages etc) will be copied to SMF but the admin internal settings (captcha settings, password strength, look and layout) is completely different from SMF and therefore not converted.. Give it a try, the converter will not change anything to your MyBB forum
