Afternoon,

If this is in the wrong section, I apologize before hand.  I have searched to no avail an answer for this issue.

I even tried looking on the support thread for the aa-damage theme Im using, but that thread is missing.

My issue is as well on the default smf theme.

Problem

My membergroup avatars are not showing in their profile NOR in a post they would make.?

I thought this was default to show.?

Can someone direct me to where I can edit/adjust this so that my members group avatars show.

FYI, they show up in the admin panel under membergroups, just not showing in posts or profile.

Thanks in advance for any assistance

smf version 1.1.10
TinyPortal v1.0 beta 4
Using themes: default and  Aa_New_Damage_v2

Kill Em All

Any mods besides TP beta 4? And I dont believe Aa_New_Damage_v2 is TP compatible. Try using a compatible TP theme. You can find some at tinyportal themes.

Do you have 'Show users avatar in message view' checked in Admin > Current Theme.

The membergroup stars or badge don't normally show on the profile.  They are located at /Themes/default/images.  Make sure your custom badges are also located there and in the same place for your custom theme.

My issue is with smf and not TP.  The information on the left of a postbody, which is the that of the poster does not show their membergroup icon OR the stars "if used".

Me for example has a founder avatar set up in membergroups as seen below screenshot

As I posted above this is also an issue with the default theme as well as them not showing in my only other theme, seen below "screenshot"

Personal avatars show fine.  Even if I change a membergroup back to stars, nothing shows on posts.

I wanted to add, you see in the info on left of post shows the members "group name",  So my common sense says there is "show-image" info missing from the template that tells where to post/show that "group name"

post-template.php...?

I'm not quite following you.  In the first screenshot there is an avatar and in the second one there is the same avatar.  Also in the second one there is 1 star where I would expect to see the membergroup badge.

If you have created custom membergroup badges, they have to reside in the /Themes/themename/images directory.

Well when testing with default theme, they didn't show.  Or atleast "I didn't see them"  :-(  Apparently I need glasses.. :-)

So that has me asking...?

What file is the one that holds the post information.?  Post_Template.php..?

I ask this cause the aa_damage theme that is hosted here has a broken support link.  That is what was partly why I came to this area.

It seems now it is a theme issue, so maybe if I cant get support from creator/thread, I can try to edit the .php file I asked about above.  And see if I can figure it out.

Sorry if I was confusing at the start,,,,,,

/Themes/default/Display.template.php

If you custom theme does not have this file, then the /Themes/default one is used.
