Position: Support Specialist.

  • Do you have pets? Yes. Two dogs and a cat. Isabelle is our first dog (Japanese Chin). Mischief (Moose), our cat, was kicked out of another neighborhood for eating bunnies. We adopted him as we have too many bunnies. Archie, our second dog (doxel-sp?) is a terror and we love him.
  • What is your favorite color? I like all of the shades of gray sprinkled with hints of green.
  • What kind of music do you like? Peter Mulvey, Jeffrey Foucault, Kris Delmorst, Goody, Redbird (amongst many others). I really just kinda love music in general.
  • What do you do on your free time besides spending time on SMF? Drinking beer.
  • What are your goals/dreams in life? To retire in Florida.
  • What got you involved in SMF? Needed a forum with additional requirements (mods), the rest is a blur.
  • Who do you admire? Why? I admire my wife and daughter because they are very intelligent and headstrong. Great traits.
  • Are you into sports?  If so which ones? Yes, football (NFL-Steelers and college-Buckeyes) and hockey (Go Penguins).
  • What is your dream job? Retired bar owner.
  • What was your first screenname? GregCam.
  • Do you have any piercings? No.
  • Are you a lefty/righty or ambidextrous? Righty.
  • Do you have any tattoo's?  If not do you wish/plan to get one? No and probably not.
  • Do you have any siblings?  If so, how many of each? Yes, two brothers, I'm in the middle.
  • What is your favorite website? Is this a family-friendly site? Drudge Report. I think so, but what do I know.
  • Do you play computer games?  If so, which ones? Not any more, played the Tomb Raider ones a few years ago.
  • Do you play video game consoles?  Which ones? Yes, Wii. Love Tiger Woods Golf and Mario Kart.
  • Are you married or planning to get married? Yes.

    • If so do you have any kids? Yes.
    • How many kids? 1.
  • How many languages do you speak?  If so which ones? 1. If so? That would require the initial question to be yes/no methinks. In any case, English.
  • Do you drink? All the live long day.
  • Do you smoke? No.
  • Did you play hookey from class? Never.
  • Do you have a license? Yes

    • Do you own a car? Yes.
    • Have you ever been stopped for speeding? Yep. Once in Minnesota and the guy just gave me what for (a warning).
  • Do you obtain a good amount of sleep daily? I don't obtain sleep, it just happens after I go to bed. Is it a good amount? I guess so.
  • How do you sleep? Soundly.
  • Have you ever been on an airplane? Yes.
  • Have you ever broken a bone? Yes, in my foot. And the way I remember it was playing basketball against a college team all by myself.
  • Do you wear jewelry?  If so what jewelry do you wear? Yes. Wedding ring and a Movado watch.
  • How do you dress? Carefully in the morning (or in the afternoon if I'm lucky).
  • How many keys are on your keyring? Three.
  • What time do you go to bed?  What time do you wake up? Midnight. 7 on weekdays, whenever on weekends.
  • What's the freakiest thing you have done? Haven't done that yet.
  • Do you live alone? No.
  • How many hours a day do you spend in the computer? Probably too many ~12.
  • How many hours a day do you spend in SMF? ~2-4
  • What is your favorite beverage - coffee, tea, soda, beer, other? beer.
  • What do you hate? Haters.
  • What do you love? My wife, my daughter, my family.
  • What is your religion? Eternal optimist.
  • What is your hair color? Brown.
  • How tall are you? 6'2"
  • How much do you weigh? I don't weigh many things too often, including myself.
  • What's the feature on SMF you can't live without?

    • As an administrator? Error log (it tells me where I've screwed up).
    • As an end user? New posts/replies (and all of the mods! (well, the ones I've installed/modified anyway)).

Lao Tzu, the metaphor of feeding someone and that sufficing to get them through one day, and one day alone shows that people can only be helped so far. If we help them and do things for them all the time, then they rely on us, which is not only unhealthy for their development of skills, but also potentially dangerous, if we are not there to help them one day, their very future is at risk.
