Must have fixed the link. Seems to point to the correct mod for me.

Ahhh crap...sorry guys. I meant the link to "Mod Discussion". It sends you to the GoDaddy thread, not this thread.

Added a GoogleAnalytics.dutch-utf8.php myself

Still Googel Analytics keeps gives "Status: tracking not installed"

What am I doing wrong?

This looks fairly interesting. I might keep a note on this mod and think about it over time...

It should work just fine if you use emulation although I would prefer to release a proper version just for 2.1 to take advantage of the new features 2.1 has.

I am not able to install this mod. on my forum (or any other mod. However there is no problem with themes.) it says that some files have no write permissions when install fails. I was using BR Finale theme and changed that to the Titanium theme for 2.0.10 but get the same error after install attempt. I know it is simple but I need a point in the right direction. It's been a while since I have installed a new forum so I may be behind the times.

You need to correct the permissions on the files that need to be modified
How do I chmod? / what is chmod?

I just updated the mod to my 2.0.6 site from 1.4. Now, the changelog says:

QuoteChanged analytic javascript code from ga.js to analytics.js

However I see that still, every page still calls .google-analytics.com/ga.js ... am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for an extra-useful mod!

[EDIT] Hm, after looking at the package info and checking, there seems to be no GoogleAnalytics.php in the Sources folder, though GoogleAnalytics.english.php and GoogleAnalytics.english-utf8.php are in the Lang folder... any help?

[EDIT2] I copied the file manually and did a cache-clean refresh which must have accounted for the ga.js/analytics.js issue, seems to be working now - hopefully. However, I notice two instances in the source code:

Near the top I see this:

And at the bottom this:

Is this normal?

I have downloaded this but don't know how to install it. Any help would be appreciated.

In what sense? cannot be installed? doesn't show the analytics code? some JS error? we need more details.

I suspect that there was an analytics code update. The tracker isn't working itself.
