two questions: locking threads and deletion of pms

ive got two questions

1. is there a way to automatically set a lock on old threads after a certain time period so they dont get bumped? (to prevent people to reply to a thread from 2008 or something)

2. when responding to a pm, is it possible to set so that either automatically delete the original pm (to free up space) or give the option "do you want to delete the pm youre responding to) and  a yes/no box? ive seen this feature on another site.

I'm not aware of a mod currently available for either options for the 1.1.x branch.  There is an auto lock mod for 2.0 but none for 1.1.x that I see.

I also didn't see one for the Pm feature you are requesting.  Feel free to search the Mod Site or the Tips and Tricks (index) for a possible solution to this?

If you don't find one, I can move this to the Mod Requests board if you want.
