Changed images

I have changed some images on my site, but they won't change for the users unless they refresh.
How can I change them for everyone, without that the users notice?

for the most part this will be coz their computers have cached the images...
I think there are some "no-cache" tags you can put into your pages for a while... so that the users browsers re-download everything...
otherwise tell them =\

You can link to the thing like this:

image.gif?revision2

And it will work, just increment the number every change.
