After update to 2.0 RC2 - editor is missing controls

I just updated from 2.0 RC1-2 to 2.0 RC2 public release and found that the buttons have disappeared from the editor.  Here's a picture.  Any help much appreciated.

Everything else seems to have gone smoothly.
