urgent help please

i've been playing with my databse settings on the server and changed my password
straight away i got an email from smf saying they couldn't connect to the server
and now my forum won't work at all
has anyone any ideas what i've done or how to fix it
i can't rem my original password unfortunately either

phew i searched for help and found a thread really old about going into the settings page on my server and finding the password out
woo hoo i found it and changed it back and hey presto it worked so all sorted

Yeah, you beat me to it, I was going to tell you the DB password is in Settings.php. Glad you got it sorted.
