SMF in Malayalam language !!

Hi

i want to add a support for malayalam language in my forum,currently there is a hindi support

but in the case of Hindi,i cant use on shoutbox

use login "smf support"
pass : "password"

on profile select Hindi,now use shout box


what i want ?

and also help me to include Malayalam language support.

Are they very different dialects from each other? If so, you might want to try requesting for a language pack here. If you are comfortable with Malayalam and English, you might also want to be interested in translating it to help others who may also be looking for this language.

Regarding the shoutbox, you should ask the in the proper support topic for that to see if your language is supported there.

You can translate the language yourself if you want. Go to /Themes/default/languages/ and you should see a bunch of files there. They should have the language in front of them. You can translate use those files as a template and translate them manually.
