Editor looks plain. No buttons or smilies.

I even unchecked 'Disable WYSIWYG editor' check box in Admin > Posts and Topics.

Did you make any changes to your forum prior to this happening? Does this problem occur on the default theme?

pittu

I upgraded from 1.1.11 to SMF 2.0 RC2 three days back.

Why subject textbox is below and message body textarea above?

It supposed to be like that?

I use IE . VERSION 8.0.60001.xxxx

Same problem with Opera too.

Nick Whetstone

No, it's not supposed to be like that.

Have you installed any mods, used/are using a custom theme, or have you modified the templates any yourself?

Goodmorning,

Also in Google Chrome (5.0.307.1 beta) I see the options and smileys..... so this is a FireFox issue?

Vincent

Today I get back my buttons and smileys. I don't know why but they are back again. Maybe a corrupt cookie caused the problem??

Thanks for your support!!

AndreT

Maybe it was your uncleared browser cache?

ShadyGame

i have the same problem...

with firefox..

working good with IE

AndreT

Once again - clear your browser cache. The shortcut is CTRL+R for Firefox or F5.

Did you try to change the images for the smileys and editor buttons? You may have a broken link.

Interesting.. same problem here.. no emoticons in just Firefox. (whatever is latest version) in IE or Chrome.. NO problems.

works FINE here tho.. did ctrl+R in firefox still nothing..

but works here..so.. maybe this will just go away after a while.

AndreT

If it is (so obviously as you say it is) a Firefox bug then you should consider reporting it. But before that it would be good if you checked with SMF 2.0 RC3 and tried completely flushing everything in your Firefox as the old CSS might still be stored.
