Hello  forum upgrade my 2.0 RC1.2 RC2 few months ago but has never let me  install packages from the package manager gives me this error:

Wrong value type sent to the database. Array of integers expected. (known_theme_list)

Some help as there are some mods if they are too long to manually putting pregnant.

Sorry if my English is bad.

Thank you.

Hi  thanks for your response I failed to remove this error that truth does  not move you much in phpmyadmin do not want to spoil any table, if  re-installed the RC2 will take away this problem???

Thanks.

JimM

If you reinstall, with a clean database you probably wouldn't have the problem.  If you just refresh the files you would most likely still have it because it is a database problem.  If you read the topic that I linked to, there are a number of things that worked for others that had the same exact error.

Just keep in mind that a clean database means you are starting over, completely.

Hello friend and I could correct the problem nown_theme_list only had to load the core themes, classic and Babylonian.

Now I have another problem, upgrade to RC3 and gives me this error:

You can not download or install new packages Because the Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable!

I have all folders with permissions 777 that may be.

Thank you.

simpsonetti

well i have the same problem:
RC3 with fresh install (no bards forum etc) and can't install mods too.

i got the same message:
"cannont download or install packages ....."

JimM

Make sure you have a folder inside /Packages called 'temp' and that it is also CHMOD to 777 or 775 or 755, depending on your host setup.

Hello all my folders are at 777 and also putting them in 755 and prove nothing.

Talk to people from the host to see what is happening.

Thank you.

JimM

Be sure and let us know what the host says.

I'm having the same issues...  :(

After having added the missing "temp" folder in Packages and clicking on "Install" next to "Spoiler Tag 0.7.2 " or "Sitemap 2.1.2 " which should be both ready for RC3 - the page is just loading and loading and ... nothing happens!?

I can see that files are getting extracted in /Packages/temp but that's it...

Any ideas?  ???

BTW, I noticed that PHP safe mode seems to be enabled and requested to get it disabled today. Could that be causing issues?

Unfortunately, it still isn't working after disabling safe mode. I assume there's another different issue....?!

This is the error I get when trying to install certain mods (Spoiler Tag in this example):

http://.../index.php?action=admin;area=packages;sa=install;package=Spoiler-0.7.2.tar.gz

8: fwrite(): send of 6 bytes failed with errno=32 Broken pipe

File: /.../httpdocs/Sources/Class-Package.php

If there is something else you will need to link us to a phpinfo sheet so we can see how things are set-up.  What is phpinfo.php?

I have this problem, too. How can I solve it? I tried almost everything.

Masterd

I solved the problem. I converted to phpBB and then from phpBB to SMF.

When I look at your last post in that topic your problem is solved :s
