Putting flash chat icon on my smf forum

i tried to go to the help place where i purchased my chat at thats shows you how to intergrate and put a chat icon on the forum but it says at the top its for smf 1.0 here is the link if you want to check it out.

Also im not using the default template dont know if that matters or not im using the element 1.Ok my question is what file do i edit to make my chat button appear and how do i do it!Please im a newb so english only no computer lingo if you want to check my website out and i guess look at my source some how if there is a way its at http://www.sig-nation.com/smf/index.php dont know if that will help im just covering it all so that you have all the info you need!

Did you read that tutorial you posted? It says 'Open index.template.php' etc... Your question is answered  in there.
