Hey Guys,

Got a question which im hoping your able to answer for me. Basically, by mistake, I have deleted one of my user's accounts on the forum. This particular user had some 850 posts to her name, and she did nothing to deserve her account being deleted, it was down to simple human error.

She has now signed up for another account and is using it fine, but what id like to know, is is it possible to assign all her original posts, (all have the name 'Molly'), to her new account? Is that possible?

Thanks for your advice in advance, and Happy Easter Holidays.

Is anything like this possible with SMF 1.1.8? I have a user who deleted his account and now wants it back.  Not that I'd do this for anyone, but he's a decent guy so I figured I'd look into it.  I'm pretty sure I can do it somewhere in the database but I just don't know where.

Any suggestions?

The only way in 1.1.8 - assuming you upgrade to 1.1.11 for MAJOR security fixes - is to run manual database queries through phpMyAdmin or similar, there's no way in the admin panel to do it.

You'll need to modify at least the messages table, and probably topics, polls and other tables too.
