Sending e-mails from the forum

i create e-mail on my domain and i put as email forum and it is also my Admin account e-mail
but there is no e-mail messages send from the forum to the members to verification accounts or reset the passwords

i search for solution but i don't know from where i must start to fix is it the server or the forum ?

my forum version is 1.1.11
