News Fader problems

Hello everyone, I have a weird problem with the news fader.

I have of course more than 1 news on my board (to be precise 2), and the fading time is as default;

Having said that, I'm not able to see the news fading at all... I have the first news only instead. That happens with both IE8 and Safari;

If I open my website with FireFox instead, I can see the news fading... Any idea guys?

I can confirm the problem with Safari but it works on IE8. Try compatibility mode in IE8 though on my test 1.1.11 forum it works in either mode.

This has been a known issue for some time. The fader works in all browsers including Safari on an SMF 2.x.xx forum.
