How to change the email address associated with email notifications?

For some reason, when my SMF forum sends out email notifications, my personal email is in the "from" line. It never used to be like that. It used to read "From www.mysite.com"

How do I change this back?

Is this a SMF issue or would it be tied to cPanel settings?

go to admin > configuration > general > webmaster email address ...and change the e-mail address
