What File Type Are Attachments Stored As?

Well I Kinda Want To Know because If I Knew I Know If It Can Be Virus Scanned With The Software On My Server Preventing Virus's Being Sent Out

Hi, attachments are stored in their original format. Except with an encrypted file name. So if you do have a capable virus scanner, that should be possible.
