How do I get rid of << previous next >> links?

People from other forums complain that the links should take you to the next page of the thread, not the next thread on the board. Ideally, I'd like to do that, but removal is fine, also.

I agree it's confusing.

Admin > Posts and Topics > Topic Settings (tab)

Uncheck: Enable previous/next topic links
