Alright heres the spill guys,

I was messing around in the "Packages" folder on smf within my ftp client. Before looking for a way to install the mods I placed the "Install_2_0.xml" of the "AJAX Instant Quick Reply" plugin into this "Package" folder and of course nothing happened. Now I know how to install things, so I removed this .xml file and refreshed my website www.forumsm.myprizecrate.com [nofollow] to find out that I have an "Internal Server Error 500". Im not sure what relevance or not this has to do with the problem, but Im just trying to give you as info as possible.

So here is the logs I have gotten from my hostgator control panel and please let me know if you need anymore info:

Are there any other logs I should be looking at?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks

Kays

Hi, check the permissions of the index.php file at the root of your forums. It should be at 644.(How do I chmod? / what is chmod?)

Is that the only mod you have installed?

If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer. If that fails, read the manual.

Hey thanks! It worked. And no I did not have any mods installed including this one.

Thanks again and problem solved!
