easiest way to install a theme?

  i noticed under my admin i can upload a theme but it asks for a file.  when i download a theme there are a ton of files that come with it.  what do i do?

i created a folder for my theme but there are too many things to copy over, it would take forever

No.  When you download the theme, keep it the way it is and use the admin panel to upload the archive.
