[Help]Can not install other language

I can not install german language.

SMF 2 RC3
with newest german languga Pack.

How i can install it?

Downloading the package does not work, uploading the extracted files on the server to /Themes/default/languages/ does not work too.

I do not want to search another hour for it, please help me.

under configuration you have langauges . in there click add new langauge and click german

after install it there and volia your done

Yes, but there is just the english language listed.

thats not how you install it

are you on v 2.0?
i can get to install it by going to configuration - lanaguages - add new langauge
then i type in german and i can install it
