Where are the sql details?

Where in the files are the SQL details located? I had some issues with my forums, now I need to return the new ones I installed back to that table.

I'm having trouble with SimplePortal. I unnstalled it and now I get an error everytime I try to go to the website it has a something error 500. I was hoping restoring the SQL table would restore my members, and posts.

sql details are located in settings.php file,
have you tried checking details by repair.setting.php file?
as Royalduke gave the link of the file, any results?
