I can't Install any MOD package in my forum

I am trying to install some mod package. but following error

An Error Has Occurred!
You cannot download or install new packages because the Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable!

CHOMD packages directory to 777 and then try!
you can use FTP for it.

[Kill Em All]

Also try to create a folder in your Packages directory called "temp" without the quotes and CHMOD it to 777 also.
