Avatars problem

Hi all, i have a problem with the avatars on my forum, Iwant to limit the size to 180px width and 200px height, but keeping the proportions, for example, the avatar is 130x100, this avatar is fine, i don't want to resize it, but, the SMF resize it to 180px width and 200px height, and i just want to resize if the avatar width or height are bigger than 180px x 200px.

We can see the problem with this image


and check how is viewing in the forum

The forum resize it to 180x200px, and the avatar looks so bad, em, horrible for me.

how do you resize it? are you using html or javascript to do that?  try resize it with javascript,  or use the option

Resize oversized large avatars
(requires GD module)

Use PNG for resized avatars
