Hi all,

Using SMF 2 RC 3
I have a problem with subdomains. it's with the log in's.
When I directly acces the folders.

Domain.com/folder and domain.com/folder2 (settings on both folders set with repair settings at the MySQL connection type: Persistant)
Then when I log in in for example domain.com/folder I'm also logged in at domain.com/folder2
But when I acces them with the subdomain url these options don't work
so if you log in at folder.domain.com you won't be logged in at folder2.domain.com
even if you are logged in at folder.domain.com you won't be logged in at domain.com/folder

What causes this problem?
Could someone come up with a solution for me please.

did you install both forums in the same database and with the same prefix ?
Please, don't PM me for support unless invited.
If you don't understand this, you will be blacklisted.

What do you have set for the cookies? (server settings - cookies and session)
Both must unchecked.
Also you have to check the cookies in you browser ...

I don't get exactly what you mean?
In the settings at the admin cp of the forum it self
or the settings with repair settings?

on both the subdomains and the normal folders.
the settings are like this

Cookie Name:              ** both the same
Queryless URLs:            Off
Output Compression:    On (saves a lot of bandwidth)
Database driven sessions:    Off (not recommended)

The database info are all the same
MySQL connection type:   persistent at all of them.

The wierd thing is that
the subdomains forum.domain.com and forum2.domain.com
are actually the same folders as
domain.com/forum and domain.com/forum2

I really need to have a solution for this :/
