Paid Membership

Hi,  when a member paid for a membership today,  they did it through paypal.  Everything went fine.   I logged in paypal and accepted the payment.

Problem is,  the membership had it as start date today,  6-15-10,  but the end date was 12-15-05.  So it marked the membership as finished.

Any idea of why this happened?

This happened Twice today.   Member pays with paypal, and instead of marking membership as active, it marks it as finished.
Start Time 6-15-2010 and finish time in year 2005!!


Also,  if I do the auto IPN from paypal for memberships,   how does this affect receiving payments for other stuff, like when I sell something on ebay?

For your first question, I'm gonna take two shots in the dark here. One:
Admin>Calendar>Max Year

Make sure that is above 2011.

or...

Your server's official date could be screwed up.

To find out your server's set date, create a php file containing this code:

Upload it to your web server and then open it in your browser. It should display the date on the server.

edit: forgot second part of your question.

I would imagine it would not affect other payments, just payments sent from your forum.

Ok,   Verified it again today.


Someone signs up for membership,  pays through paypal.   Membership is upgraded,  but is marked FINISHED.    (Expired).   Instead of being marked "active",  and good for 6 months.


I can't figure out what is causing this.

Anyone have any ideas?
