RC3 Add a link to the index page

I just upgraded to RC3.  Man what a huge difference.  however I can't figure out how to add my chat link back into the list of links at the top of the page?  I looked around on the board and couldn't find this question asked anywhere.  Can someone point me in the right direction to do this?

That link didn't give any helpful topics.  Most dealt with RC2 and earlier. The one on RC3 did give me a clue as to how to add a new option.

Anything from 2.0 will tell you how to add links to the menu.
