So, did your friend do anything (like installing a modification) before this happened? In the server errorlog, there's probably an extended errormessage on this, can you post it?

As a last resort, you could upload all files from the default theme again and see if that helps. This would break any mods however.

You could try renaming the default theme's index.template.php and using a new version of that, just to see if it's just that file that's gone mental.


I've tried using various themes on your site, though, and I'm getting the same error.


As xenovanis said, has he installed any mods, prior to this happening?


If so, he should restore the backup he took, before installing the mod(s).
