How can I add new post icons? I found a tip for SMF 1.1.x, but I need something for SMF 2.0 RC3.

PurpleCrow

You mean the "new" image that appears next to topics with unread posts in it?

No, images like xx, solved, thumpup and that.

PurpleCrow

I think he means the message icons, the default one for posts being this - which is where the xx thing came from in his post, that image is called xx.gif.

Thats the only reason I think its the message icons.

If it is...

Upload the message icons to the right directory (cant remember off of the top of my head where it is I'm afraid), then go to Admin > Forum > Edit Message Icons > Then edit, remove or add what you want :)

Oh! I missed out bit - when you hover over Forum click Smileys and Message Icons then click "Edit Message Icons".

If that isnt there still, click on "Settings" under the Smileys and Message Icons bit and make sure that the Customised Message Icons tick box is checked.

What do you mean you cant?  ::)

When you click "Edit Message Icons" it will list your icons, at the bottom it will say "Add new Icon"

See the attatched image.

Is "Enable customized message icons", in "Settings", enabled (Checked)?

Masterd

I found the option. Thank you for your time.
