error in ajax chat

I have installed Ajax chat and in the shoutbox i get the error

(22:15:38) ChatBot: Error: Connection status: 500

any ideas?  thank you

I am having the same problem.
I am using AjaxChat+Integration_3.2.1+RC3_Curve_Friendly
What happen was I installed "Adk Portal" and didn't like it so I uninstalled it and that's when I got forum errors
and shoutbox stopped working. I have corrected the rest of the forum but shoutbox will not work.
I don't use chat only shoutbox.

I also uninstalled the AjaxChat+Integration_3.2.1+RC3_Curve_Friendly MOD & reinstalled
and tried all this
If you get a 500 Connection error you might have to set your file permissions as well.
There are 2 folder for the AJAX Chat Intergration Mod "Chat" and "Shoutbox".
For AJAX Chat Intergration Version 3 be sure to change the file permissions (CHMOD) /chat/index.php and /shoutbox/index.php to 755 (and in some cases CHMOD the actual "Folders" as well).

But still no luck. Any idea's?
