How do I add affiliate banners in the footer of my forum

Hi, I would like to do this at the bottom of my forum and name it Affiliates



I have checked all the mods but all they do is a add a new page, I would like to know what code I would code into the index.template.php to do this, Thankyou very much. Unless there is actually a mod that does this and i have missed it.

1. Use portal mod like SimplePortal. Simply create a new html or php block. Or you can use block in block guide to do this as well. Ask at SimplePortal.Net for inquiry or help regarding this mod.

2. Use ads mod like SimpleAds (or others). Simply create ad block at the wanted place. There are choices for you to do that too.
