counts do not propogate to > 1 level

Hi, Folks,

SMF 2.0 RC3

I have 3 levels of forums and counts from the bottom child level 3 do not show up on upper parent 1.

Level 1 Parent forum
--Level 2 child forum
----Level 3 child forum

It does show up on the 2 level. I checked that all 3 forums. I did check ed the option for children counts to propogate to parent forums.
I did try to recount option under mainatance but that didn't fix the problem.

Posting counting in SMF is only counting the first two levels. So, posts in third leven are not count.

This is not a bug, this is to prevent an overload of the server.

I have parent category (no posting allowed), then child category (no posting allowed), then child forum (posting allowed). So, in this scenario, my parent category will always show zero count as posting is not allowed in child category. IS there a way for suppressing the visibility of the count for parent category as it always will show zero?

yes, you need to edit your boards.template.php file to reflect that. if you attach it here there's a chance somebody may give you a hand
