Cant connect to news

On my hosting, no enabled show latest news, version, version instaled files.

Administrator unlock IP simplemachines.org in hosting firewall

I can't tell you why you can't connect but tell me when have any of us used this?
Mine works, always has but I have never read or payed attention to it.

If I were you, I would not even worry unless you have other issues connecting to something more important.

I see. I personally have NEVER used the news section to download any of my packages. I go directly to the MOD section on SMF and just surf around.

Sorry but I can not tell you why this is happening but I am sure that some one with more experience and knowledge will tell you what is wrong.
