Everything was fine one week ago. But then suddenly some of my users reported that during the last few days they constantly receive

"Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database.  This may be caused by the server being busy.  Please try again later."

and could never access my forum again.
And they said they could login to my forum without any problem one week ago.

However, most users do have no connection issues.

I have tested some proxies and the connection problem for those users is confirmed.

All users could access static pages on my website, as well as my Wordpress blog, which shared the same database with my SMF forum.

This really sounds strange. But it just happened.

I've tried anything I can do. I even upgraded my previous SMF 1.1.1 to SMF 2.0 RC3 a few minutes ago.  But the problem still exist.

Could you ask your user to clear his browsers cache and cookies?

Problem solved. It seems due to the DNS issue.
