access Maintenance mode

hello ,
please help me , how can i allow some people that i trust to access  my forum when it's in Maintenance mode , i saw the mod that helps me , but it really does not , because i have smf 2.0 RC3 and it fails on installation  process ....

so i need help ...

if you give them admin rights, you don't need any mod. do you trust them that much?

block every group from accessing the forum excluding one

It could be worth trying RC2 Emulation mode (remember to click Save) if this is the mod you tried...

yes it does work if you emulate version RC2,  you don't say why* is not working?  errors on install?  blank page?

Well, hate to say this but it works on my RC3 install.

Please tell us how it doesn't work for you. Do you receive any errors on the installation? If so, what errors?
