Error 500 - Internal server error

I was looking at my forum page, refreshed the page and received the Error 500 - Internal server error. I know this is something I should contact my host about,and I have, but they take about an hour to reply.

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions?

It'll be down to your host.

500 errors are about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

Yeah, I got a suggestion, what did you do before this error? Do you have other admins that have touched the forum? If not then the best thing you can do is wait for your host to reply in a few hours.... long time.

Anyways, we need more details.

EDIT: It's most likely a host redirect error or something with Apache.

Yes it seems to have fixed itself. Not sure what happened. The only other Admin that was online doesn't touch the forum tools. I think it was a user who uploaded a massive avatar file.
