Membergroup hover over rank image?

I created several different color images for each membergroup on my forum and I thought of an interesting idea. Instead of images with the rank name printed on them -- one for each group -- would it be possible to make the membergroup title hover over the image? That way only one image is needed (instead of one for each different rank name) and I can change rank names easily.

It should probably be on the coding section. It can be done but what is the need ?
You think users will players cursors on the images just to know which member is what ?
